The MLS® Marks identify professional services rendered by members in good standing of CREA to effect the purchase and sale of real estate as part of a "plural system arrangement," also known as a co-operative selling system (the "MLS® services"), in compliance with CREA's By-Laws and Rules, the REALTOR® Code as amended from time to time, and in compliance with all applicable federal and provincial/territorial laws and regulations. The MLS® Marks do not identify or describe a computer database of real estate listings. An MLS® System is a co-operative selling system operated and promoted by a Board or Association in association with the MLS® Marks. An MLS® System includes an inventory of listings of participating REALTOR® members, and ensures a certain level of accuracy of information, professionalism and co-operation amongst REALTOR® members to affect the purchase and sale of real estate.
